The path to help you reach your health and fitness goals can take many routes and span years and even decades with milestones and setbacks throughout. I am here to make that journey have a specific direction and run as smooth and effectively as possible.

My Story – Why Do I Train?

When you grow up with weight problems, you can either “just accept it,” or, like me, know that you’re made of something better. That you don’t have to settle for poor health, lack of energy, and sub-optimal quality of life. My journey took me through 20 years of being overweight, but I never settled. And you don’t have to settle, either! Your best self is ahead of you.

I reference this old latin phrase as a humble reminder: this life is limited in time, and if we don’t act now on the things we want to accomplish, we may never “get around to it.” Its important to take action now.

Change Your Life Like I Changed Mine


Some hobbies never change, but something else can!

We all have our own path. For me, I spent 20 years of my young life obese. My energy levels were shot. I had pains all over my body. Muscle twitching. Chronic anxiety and depression. I felt twice my age.

In my late 20’s I decided I had enough and was going to fix it. So I reached out to my friend Alex (a personal trainer) for tips, and I started lifting and tracking my diet. Then I fell in love with fitness and exercise science.

Within a few months the transformation was already apparent. I suddenly had reduced anxiety, improved energy, better mood, and more confidence. By the end of that year I had doubled my strength while also losing 25 lbs (gaining upwards of 10 lbs muscle, so the fat loss was likely more like 35 lbs).

I also knew this was a long game. Overcoming TWENTY YEARS is not going to happen in months, but rather years. And in the end, the entire point is for the transformation to be sustainable for the rest of your life. This takes a methodical and realistic approach, not a crash diet or secret supplement.

“I never thought I’d be someone who would seek out a personal trainer, but after almost a year of not exercising and knowing that I needed to make a change I figured I needed some help to keep me on track to reach my personal goals (feeling better, LOOKING better, being healthier).

Enter Jeff. I didn’t quite know what to expect… whether it would be someone who was too lenient and just told me what I wanted to hear, or someone who was a wanna-be drill sergeant. Jeff is NEITHER! He is the perfect mix of firm but flexible. I have used him as my trainer for about two months, and he has been punctual, willing to accommodate to my schedule, and holds me accountable for the tasks and progress benchmarks he sets for me.

I can already feel the difference in how my body feels after these 6 weeks, and I am SO excited for what the future holds after more time spent with Jeff!”
